GUINNESS WIDGET UI/UX

When you decide taking a brand so sleek and so known for its colors and identity so powerful, all you can do is taking a deep breath and learn.

This is my Guinness UI/UX design and some of the process notes.

Without a doubt ,one of the biggest challenges is designing

for a brand that sells an experience, the Guinness experience

Something which comes only to selected few, and gives you more than "just a product" meaning.

It's a heritage, a legacy and required me to do a thorough investigation (beyond being a Guinness drinker myself)

And so, after much research and thought put into it,

I have found that what made an optional product a Guinness is it's richness in taste and texture, or in short- The widget.

The next stage in the process was defining the styleguide for the design, understanding which logos are used and what suits the design.

(heres a glimpse)

Colors were then selected from both the ads and from the actual color shifts from the beer itself (a tasty act by itself)

Finally selecting the fonts, according to the style of the actual company's designs.

And the result- right below.
